Veneers vs. Bonding: Which Is Right for You?
Both can transform a smile. Knowing which one fits your goals (and budget) starts with these three questions.
Cosmetic bonding and porcelain veneers can both correct chips, gaps, and discoloration — but they're different tools with different lifespans, different price points, and different ideal cases.
Bonding is conservative, reversible, and same-day. It's a great fit for small chips, minor reshaping, or closing a single gap. With good care, bonding lasts 5–7 years before it may need a refresh.
Veneers are a longer-term investment — 15–20 years is typical — and they hold their color far better than composite. They're the right tool when you want to refine multiple teeth, change tooth length, or build a smile that stays bright for decades.
